Crisis Support
If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health crisis, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room for immediate help.
For free, confidential emotional support in the U.S. and territories, call or text 988 to reach the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, available 24/7. Chat is also available through the Lifeline website.
In cases of emergency related to mental health or substance use-related crisis, Crisis Response Centers (CRCs) operate 24/7 and offer emergency evaluations to help determine the most appropriate level of care and services.
For veterans, service members, and their loved ones, the Veterans Crisis Line can be reached by calling 988 and pressing 1, or by texting 838255.
