Meet the Provider

I’m Sarné Darby, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, founder of New Hope Psychiatry & Wellness. With over 15 years of nursing and psychiatric experience, I created New Hope to provide accessible, compassionate, and evidence-based psychiatric care where every client feels heard, respected, and valued.

I believe the best psychiatric care happens when science, compassion, education, and healthy lifestyle practices come together to support the whole person—not just treat symptoms. My approach is collaborative and person-centered, combining comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management when appropriate, supportive therapy, and evidence-based psychoeducation. Together, we’ll explore your concerns, discuss treatment options, and develop a personalized care plan that aligns with your goals, values, and lifestyle.

Because mental and physical health are deeply connected, I also incorporate evidence-informed discussions about sleep, nutrition, physical activity, stress management, and other healthy lifestyle practices that can support emotional wellness alongside traditional psychiatric treatment.

As part of my commitment to providing the highest quality care, I am currently completing advanced training to become a Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional (CIMHP) through the Nutritional and Integrative Medicine for Mental Health Professionals program. This training expands my knowledge of integrative, evidence-informed strategies that complement traditional psychiatric care.

Whether you’re seeking support for anxiety, depression, ADHD, stress, or life transitions, my goal is to provide a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel empowered to take an active role in your care. At New Hope Psychiatry & Wellness, you’re more than a diagnosis—you’re a whole person deserving of knowledgeable, compassionate, and trusted care.

Together, we’ll build a path toward greater clarity, resilience, and lasting mental wellness—where hope begins and healing continues.

Together, we’ll discuss what’s working, what isn’t, and make thoughtful adjustments to your treatment plan as your needs evolve. Our goal is to ensure your care continues to support meaningful, lasting progress toward improved mental wellness.

We will work together to monitor your progress, evaluate what is working, and adjust your treatment plan as needed. Healing is a process—it is not an overnight fix.
